Running GameTap with Diskeeper and other maintenance utilities
| Known issue: | You may experience difficulty with GameTap if you have a system maintenance utility such as Diskeeper installed. GameTap may become non-responsive and the window may turn completely white. While Diskeeper and similar maintenance utilities are designed with the option of only running while a system is idle, it has been reported that it may not detect the activity of the client software or some game types. One other possible scenario is that these utilities may determine activity on a drive-by-drive basis and on systems with multiple drives, start it's maintenance procedure on any disk that may be idle even if activity is detected elsewhere. This may cause the utility to start performing maintenance while GameTap or some games are running and is believed to cause a system resource issue which causes the white screen/window and the lack of response. |

To eliminate the scenario mentioned above you may consider disabling Diskeeper or other maintenance utility before launching GameTap. |
