Document 01. What is the GameTap Player?
The GameTap Player is a little program that is required for the download and playing of games from your GameTap Pack. You will be asked to install the player after you create your account, or when you launch a download or a game for the first time.

This small download is not intrusive, will not corrupt your PC or install anything on it other than itself, and is not a spyware. You must authorize it to connect to Internet if ever you have a firewall installed on your PC.
