Document Keyboard problems with an ATI driver
If you have an ATI graphics card and whilst you are playing you get some strange problems with the keyboard, like the SHIFT key is permanently held down giving you the look of a constipated chicken in online games as this is the key mapped to duck in your favorite online FPS, the culprit is the little ATI program that comes with the driver that is hidden in your taskbar:

 


Here is how to solve the problem:

Go to Run in the Start menu, type in Desk.cpl then click on Ok:



In the window labeled Display Properties go to the Settings section and click on Advanced:



Go to the options section and un tick all the boxes to remove the ATI programs from the taskbar:



Click on OK and start your game the problem should have stopped, you are no longer a constipated chicken online.
