Document How to Clear Your Cookies and Cache
Select your browser:

FireFox 2.0 & 3.x
Internet Explorer 6.0
Internet Explorer 7.0
Netscape
Opera 9
Safari
Chrome





Deleting Cookies on Firefox 2.0 & 3.x:
  1. Click Tools then Options.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Click Show Cookies.
  4. Type Lexis in the search box.
  5. Click to highlight the cookies that contain the word GameTap.
  6. Click Remove Cookies.
  7. Click Ok to return to the browser main page.
  8. Exit and relaunch the browser.
Clearing Cache on Firefox 2.0 & 3.x:
  1. Click Tools and select Options.
  2. Click the Privacy icon.
  3. Click Clear Now in the Private Data area.
  4. Click Ok.
  5. Exit and relaunch the browser.

Deleting Cookies on Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0:
  1. Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
  3. Click Delete Cookies.
  4. Click Yes.
  5. Close and relaunch your browser.
Clearing Cache on Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0:
  1. Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
  3. Click Delete Files.
  4. Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
  5. Click OK.

Deleting Cookies on Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0:
  1. Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Click Delete under the Browsing History section.
  5. Click Delete Cookies in the Delete Browsing History dialog box.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Close and relaunch your browser.
Clearing Cache on Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0:
  1. Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Click Delete under the Browsing History section.
  5. Click Delete Files in the Delete Browsing History dialog box.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Close.
  8. Close and relaunch your browser.

Deleting Cookies on Netscape:
  1. Click Tasks then Privacy and Security.
  2. Highlight Cookie Manager, and click View Stored Cookies.
  3. Click Remove All Cookies.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Close and relaunch your browser.
Clearing Cache on Netscape:
  1. Click Tools and select Options.
  2. Select Privacy under Options on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click Cache.
  4. Click Clear Cache.
  5. Click Clear.
  6. Click OK.

Deleting Cookies and Cache on Opera 9:
  1. Open Opera.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. Click Delete Private Data.
  4. Click Details.
  5. Un-check anything that you do not want to be deleted.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Relaunch the browser.

Deleting Cookies on Safari:
  1. Open Safari.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Security.
  4. Click Show Cookies.
  5. Use the scroll bar to search for the GameTapcookie.
  6. Click to highlight the name of the cookie you want to delete.
  7. Click Remove.
  8. Click Done.
  9. Close the Security and Browser windows.
  10. Relaunch the browser.
Clearing Cache on Safari:
  1. Open Safari.
  2. Select Empty Cache.
  3. Click Empty on the Are you sure message box.
  4. Exit and relaunch the browser.

Deleting Cookies on Chrome:
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click theWrech Icon in the top right corner.
  3. Click Clear browsing data....
  4. Only check Delete Cookies.
  5. Use the drop down to select Everything.
  6. Click Clear Browsing Data.
Clearing Cache on Chrome:
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Click theWrech Icon in the top right corner.
  3. Click Clear browsing data....
  4. Only check Empty the Cache.
  5. Use the drop down to select Everything.
  6. Click Clear Browsing Data.
