To run the GameTap Player in Internet Explorer 8 in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, Turn off Protected Mode or add *.gametap.com to your trusted sites and run Internet Explorer with Administrator privileges. For details, follow the steps below:
- Turn off Protected Mode in Internet Explorer
- Open Internet Explorer
- In the Tools menu, select Internet Options, then select the Security tab.
- The Enable Protected Mode checkbox is checked by default. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode.
- Close and Re-open Internet Explorer.
- Or Add GameTap to your trusted sites.
- Open Internet Explorer
- In the Tools menu, select Internet Options, then select the Security tab
- Click Trusted Sites, then click the Sites button.
- type *.gametap.com in the text field and click Add. Make sure Require Server Verification is unchecked.
- Close internet Options and restart Internet Explorer.
- Run Internet Explorer with Administrator privileges
- Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon.
- Select Run as administrator.
